Robinson honored by NSU

Valerie Robinson, daughter of Curt Robinson of Vermillion, was named the Northern State Wolves Athlete of the Week on Feb. 6. NSU tennis split four matches earlier during play on Feb. 2-3, led by Robinson, a freshman, who went 3-1 in singles matches and 1-0 in doubles play. Robinson’s lone loss of the weekend was a tight 4-6, 4-6 loss to Winona State. She responded with two big wins against Martin Luther later that day, then capped her weekend with a 6-0, 6-1 win to help the Wolves to their first ever win over Upper Iowa.
