World Day of Prayer is March 1

World Day of Prayer will be held on March 1 at 2 p.m. at Gayville Lutheran Church.
World Day of Prayer is a worldwide ecumenical movement of many faith traditions who come together to observe a common day of prayer each year on the First Friday in March.  This year the women of France have developed the theme, “I Was a Stranger and You Welcomed Me.”

Participating churches are Gayville Lutheran, Bergen Lutheran, Gayville United Methodist, Vangen Lutheran and Faith United Lutheran.
