Madison Wallace, of Vermillion, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 in Sioux Falls. We have all been so blessed to have Madison in our lives. Everyone who knew her was touched by her sweet spirit. Our precious Madison graduated way too soon for us but she graduated in life with high honors. She was 16 years old when she jumped into the frozen river to save her little brother. She lived her life on behalf of others, and she died doing the same

She is survived by her parents, Jay and Lara of Vermillion; three brothers, Corbyn, Micah and Garrett, and two sisters, Annika and Jenevieve. She is also survived by her grandparents, Don (Joan) Wallace and Martin (Margaret) Knaphus all of Orem, UT.
