Vermillion, SD – Crissy Skogsberg, RN, Education Coordinator, Sanford Care Center Vermillion was selected as the Sanford Vermillion March 2013 PRIDE Employee of the Month. She has been employed here since June 2003.

Respect: Crissy maintains a high level of respect for residents and staff. She is a strong advocate for respectful interactions whether it is a 1:1 interaction or a group setting.
Innovation: Crissy is innovative in the way she teaches the required programs. She thinks ahead for positive outcomes.
Dedication: Crissy really stepped up and put on many hats during the absence of her manager.
With empowerment, leadership skill and passion with her current responsibilities and those added during this time, she did a wonderful job!
Excellence: Crissy brings her “A game” to work every day. She greets everyone with a smile. She has a positive attitude toward all situations. She is a realist with determination and perseverance to make everything great.
Additional Comments: Crissy is a great teacher and very dedicated to the residents personally and through the care of the staff she educates. She works very hard at what she does and takes her role as education coordinator very seriously and with great character.

Crissy (Wibben) Skogsberg is a native of Rock Rapids, IA. She and her husband Adam live in rural Vermillion along with their two boys; Carter (8) and Bryson (4).
