VERMILLION – South Dakota’s men’s cross country team was named an All-Academic team and ranks in the top-five in the nation in team GPA, according to a release by the U.S. Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association on Monday.

South Dakota recorded a cumulative GPA of 3.54 during the fall semester, which was fifth-best out of the 145 programs to receive the honor.  The Coyotes were the top program in the Summit League, with North Dakota State, South Dakota State, and IUPUI also receiving the honor.
