South Dakota women’s cross country team earns All-Academic honor

South Dakota’s women’s cross country team has earned All-Academic Team status from the U.S. Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association.

The South Dakota women recorded a 3.71 cumulative GPA last fall, which was sixth-best out of the 200 programs receiving the honor.  South Dakota also had the top GPA in the Summit League.

All-Academic team status is achieved by having a team cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and by having at least five runners start in an NCAA regional championship.
