Foundation sees growth

The Clay-Union Foundation has seen good growth, adding four new board members, and three new volunteers. There have also been two new matches made, and a third is being processed. There are two girls to match in Vermillion, and a boy and girl to match in Elk Point. Volunteers spend two hours per week with their match, and are fully background checked and interviewed prior to matches.

The foundation would like to add one educator from Elk Point-Jefferson school, either active, or retired, one educator from Vermillion, and is seeking to add at least two USD students from the law school to serve on the board.

Contact John Gille at (605) 421-5050 or e-mail to learn more about the program, become a volunteer or board member or to sign up a youth.

The Clay-Union Foundation is funded in part by the United Way of Vermillion.
