The Vermillion Tanagers football team discovered that Friday, Sept. 13, was not their lucky day as they faced the West Central Trojans for their first home game of the season.

West Central defeated Vermillion 53-0 in Friday’s challenge. The Tanagers, who now sport a 1-2 record, will travel to Tea for a non-league challenge on Friday, Sept. 20. Vermillion will meet a Titans squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Dell Rapids. The Titans record now stands at 1-1.
