10/20/13 02:01 – Caller reported someone was trying to get in the front door of his residence and he believes the dog scared the subject away. Officers patrolled the area.

10/20/13 02:48 – Caller reported loud music and talking coming from the neighbor’s apartment. Officers responded but could not find any unreasonable noise in the apartment complex.

10/20/13 03:07 – Caller said something was giving an intermittent audible alarm in her home, but she could not locate what was causing the alarm. Officers responded and found a CO detector with low batteries was causing the alarm. Once CO detector was plugged in it stopped alarming.

10/20/13 03:11 – While investigating a 911 hang-up call, officers found a loud party at the apartment complex. The party stopped when the officer made contact with the residence.

10/20/13 11:49 – A found checkbook was turned over to police.

10/20/13 12:22 – Caller reported losing a wallet at a local business.

10/20/13 13:57 – Caller spoke to an officer about his option regarding an ongoing noise problem with a neighbor.

10/20/13 21:15 – While refueling a vehicle, an officer was approached by a subject who had been drinking and engaged in conversation. The subject was on the 24/7 program and hence forbidden from consuming alcohol. Per the subject’s parole officer, she was arrested.

10/20/13 21:43 – Caller requested assistance with a possum in her garage. Officers removed the possum from the garage.

10/20/13 22:25 – Caller reported receiving threating text messages. The message sender was contacted and warned not to send threatening text messages.

10/20/13 23:31 – Caller advised of a loud party going on in a nearby neighborhood. Officers patrolled the area but were unable to locate the party.

10/21/13 04:19 – Officers found an unsecured door to a business. At the owner’s request, officers checked the area but found nothing amiss. The door was secured.

10/21/13 07:15 – Caller reported an abandoned motorized scooter in the high school parking lot. Officers checked on the scooter, which was not reported stolen. Additionally, there was no identifying information as to the owner of the vehicle.

10/21/13 10:53 – Caller requested a welfare check on her boyfriend. Officers checked and the boyfriend was fine.

10/21/13 15:04 – Caller reported an assault that had occurred a month before in a bar. Under investigation.

10/22/13 07:00 – Officers heard an alarm sounding and believed it might be a fire detector alarm. Officers eventually located the detector, which was on the roof of a home. There was no fire and the detector had apparently been thrown up on the roof of the home.

10/22/13 17:08 – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog barking for a long period of time. Officers contacted the neighbor who stopped the dogs from barking.

10/22/13 23:45 – Caller reported their juvenile son had run away. Officers searched for the juvenile, who eventually returned home on his own.

10/23/13 08:31 – Caller advised a domestic dispute at a neighbor’s apartment. Officers contacted the apartment occupants, and determined the noise was caused a by a verbal argument, no one had been injured, or threatened.

10/23/13 10:44 – Caller reported illegal dumping of garbage in their dumpster. Investigation revealed the garbage had come from a friend who was helping with construction. The caller did not wish to pursue the issue.

10/24/13 14:55 – Complainant reported damage to the commons area of his apartment complex. The damage consisted of graffiti being painted on walls. No suspect information was received.

10/24/13 16:43 – Caller requested additional security checks at a construction site where fresh concrete was curing.

10/24/13 18:23 – Officers responded to a reported of a domestic dispute. Investigation resulted in charges being referred to the State’s Attorney

10/24/13 19:43 – Officers responded to a 911 call. The phone and been dialed by a young child no emergency existed.

10/24/13 19:56 – Officers responded to a CO detector alarm and stood by until the fire department arrived.

10/24/13 21:46 – Neighbor complained of a barking dog. Officers found the dog barking incessantly and could not locate the owner. After repeated attempt to quiet the dog and find the owner a citation was issued.

10/25/13 09:52 – Caller reported the odor of propane. Officers assisted the fire department in looking for the source of the odor.

The owner of the residence had struggled with the man and removed him from the residence as officers were arriving. The man fled to a nearby residence where a loud party was ongoing. Officers investigated but were not able to identify the man in the group of partygoers. The party was loud and the noise was clear disruptive. The renter of the party residence was cited for the noise violation.

10/26/13 03:05 – Officers responded to a medical call and tried to provide treatment, but the intoxicated patient refused assistance from the officer and the ambulance when it arrived.

10/26/13 03:41 – Caller requested officer check on a former boyfriend to see if he had a party at his residence. Officers explained that the boyfriend was allowed to have a party or not and that the police would not be checking on him.

10/26/13 05:44 – Officers responded to a report of a domestic fight ongoing. Investigation resulted in the arrest of one of the parties for domestic assault.
