Gayville Hall presents “Waylon, Willie and the Boys,” starring John and Susan McNeill, Nick Schwebach and Owen DeJong, at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, in Gayville.

John McNeill, of Springfield, who also created the venue’s tributes to Hank Williams and Johnny Cash, leads the two-hour celebration of the “outlaw” country music that blew out of Texas in the late 1960s and ‘70s. Susan McNeill plays bass and also sings several tunes in the show.

Schwebach plays lead guitar, and DeJong, who has a master’s degree in violin performance, plays fiddle. They head the band Poker Alice and are, along with the McNeills, Gayville Hall regulars.

Gayville Hall is located at 502 Washington St. in Gayville. Tickets are $12.50 at the door, or $15 reserved. Call (605)-267-2859.
