12/15/13 14:25 – A caller reported someone has been trespassing on his land to hunt. A blind was found but the hunter was not present. The information was shared with the GFP conservation officer.
12/15/13 16:08 – A patient was transported to the Human Services Center in Yankton for an involuntary mental health committal.
12/16/13 05:45 – A deputy investigated a non-injury accident on Highway 50 near Gayville.
12/16/13 16:25 – The School Resource Officer mediated an issue involving a 14-year-old girl and her parents wishing to have an 18-year-old boy stop pursuing a relationship with the girl.
12/17/13 01:55 – A deputy assisted the Turner County Sheriff’s Office with an attempt to locate a runaway teenager believed to be at a Clay County residence. The deputy checked but the runaway was not found at that location.
12/17/13 07:21 – A caller reported a vehicle parked along Highway 19 with two occupants. He believed they were illegally hunting. A deputy responded but the vehicle had left the area.
12/17/13 15:20 – At the request of a court services officer, a delinquent juvenile was picked up on a probation detainer and transported to the JDC in Sioux Falls.
12/17/13 21:48 – A vehicle was stopped and the driver was cited for operating with expired license plates.
12/18/13 10:57 – A deputy responded to Wakonda to mediate a child custody dispute.
12/18/13 16:57 – A vehicle was stopped for driving 63 mph in a 45 mph zone on University Road. The driver was cited for the offense.
12/18/13 20:35 – A caller reported receiving a call asking for personal information. No information was provided to the suspicious caller and it was determined the person had “spoofed” the phone number to appear local.
12/20/13 00:31 – A deputy checked on a vehicle left on Highway 50. It was found that the owner had run out of gas.
12/20/13 19:25 – A Wakonda resident reported a property management company had improperly entered her house causing damage and winterized the house. The matter is under investigation.
12/20/13 22:49 – A caller reported a man was walking on highway 50 and was not dressed for the weather. A deputy located the man and took him to a warm place to wait for a ride.
12/21/13 13:36 – A deputy investigated a report of stolen prescription medication from a rural residence.
