Vermillion School District 13-1 will accept sealed bids for a partial reroofing project at Vermillion High School. Specifications and other documents may be obtained at the district office, 17 Prospect, Vermillion, South Dakota 57069.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting to discuss the specifications and view the proposed project will be held March 7, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. at Vermillion High School, 1001 E. Main ST. Bids will be received at the district office, 17 Prospect, Vermillion, South Dakota 57069, until 1:00 p.m. on March 21, 2013, at which time they will be opened and read in the conference room at Vermillion Schools District Office. Bids will be presented to the school board for their consideration at their regular meeting on March 25, 2013.
Bids must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check payable to Vermillion School District in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, or a bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Bids shall be marked “Bid for Roof Replacement”.
Vermillion School District 13-1 reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
