The Vermillion City Council will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, May 5, in the Al Neuharth Media Center on the USD campus.
New business on the council's agenda includes appointments to the library board of trustees and consideration of an application for a taxicab license from Interlink Shuttle Service.
The council will also consider proposed ordinance 1185, deleting section 15-4 which prohibits peddlers and solicitors, and adding sections 15-86 through 15-103, which would establish definitions, fees, and licensing procedures for itinerant merchants, peddlers, and solicitors.
Aldermen will also act on an engineering agreement for Phase 2 of improvements to the city's wastewater treatment facility.
